What is Foreground Service and why do I see this alert?
According to Google’s Android Oreo policy, we are obligated to show the service status in notification channel when the service is running in the background. You can go to settings to hide the alert and keep the service working.
This will apply on Call Defender v7.2.0, the estimated date of release: 08/10/2018.
It doesn't affect Android 7 or older phones. You can ignore this article if there are no alert.
If your device is Android 8.0/8.1 system, after you switch off the foreground service alert, you will still see Android system alert. If you are Android 7 or below users, this policy will not affect you.
How do I turn off foreground service alert?
You can choose either of the two below:
(This method authorizes Call Defender tomanage your notification center. If you are uncomfortable with this method, please use Method 2)
1.Pull down notification center and click the alert of Call Defender.
2.Getting into “Allow Notification Access” settings page.
3. “Allow” Notification Access：By access this permission, you will be able to have a clearer notification center and enjoy the more efficient Call Defender service.
(This method is slightly more complicated, or it may be different due to themodel of the mobile phone. If you encounter difficulties, please use Method 1 or contact us within the Call Defender.)
1.Pull down notification center and switch Call Defender alert. Get into settings.
2.Click minimize and get into notification settings.
3.Turn off Call Defender Notice

If your device is Android 8.0/8.1 system, after you switch off the foreground service alert, you will still see Android system alert.
If you are Android 8.0/8.1 system’s users, please read more:
1. If you are Android 8.0/8.1 system’s users，you might see “Call Defender is running in the background” alert.
2.Please swipe left and click all categories.
3. Turn off “Apps consuming battery.“
